Our PPCs (Prospective Parliamentry Candidates)

Oliver Colville was chosen by Plymouth Sutton Conservatives to be their candidate to overturn a projected Labour majority of 4,305.

This will be Mr Colville's third successive attempt to unseat Linda Gilroy MP. He beat three other candidates in the first round of voting.

Matthew was born in 1976. He attended his local church-comprehensive. Matthew read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of East Anglia. His employment background is in alternative dispute resolution. Matthew has legal training and has been called to the bar. For the past three years, his work as an adjudicator involved getting a fair result for people in dispute with their health-insurance providers.

Matthew has a great love of Devon and a real interest in Plymouth and the concerns of Plymouth citizens. Matthew says:

"Plymouth is such an important city to our country's history and has the opportunity for a vibrant future. Politics is getting very interesting now and people have a real chance to make a difference at the next election. If voters give me the opportunity I will fight hard for Plymouth to ensure its economy and quality of life are strengthened and secured."
